Part-time work?

Just ran into a former Pioneer driver now with the MTA (ATU 726) who told me they're working without a contract and the city is looking to make all the work out here PART-TIME WORK! Can you imagine if the city gets away with this?

This is why I cringe when guys complain about our contract or bad-mouth our union. Are you malcontents starting to get the picture? If you don't see the writing on the wall maybe you should take advantage of our free eyeglass benefit. This thing of ours is not going to last forever, so be thankful for what we have while we have it. Even though we don't contract directly with the city, I shudder to think what Michael will be up against when our contract is up in December.
