QuoteUnless he got permission from the DOT to do so but how would we know ya know? It's straight up bullshit to take a whole side of the street
Report it to 311 or DOT directly.

Don't report it to the DOT! You will ONLY bring attention to the block! Just take the sign down!

Here's another good idea. Give Grace back the shuttle! I was never late to work. Even when I was running late, she would wait for me or come back and pick me up. I could always count on her!!! Not saying the other shuttle drivers didn't pick me up at times, but many days they just didn't show up. You just couldn't count on them. Even when you called them, they just didn't answer their cell.

I'm glad your NOT an air traffic controller! Your assuming there is no bus entering the fuel alley as bus 1 makes the right down the alley to leave! Or better yet, a driver looking to jump the line and goes into the fuel alley (bus 2), or bus 2 getting stuck in traffic before he can make the turn into the fuel alley, which causes a delay for him to enter. There is so many different scenarios that can cause a (head on) bus on bus in fuel alley! Maybe this why they took down the suggestion box!

I didn't notice anything posted in the office or I haven't got any email from pioneer saying work coverage would change.

If this is the case (future) of what pioneer wants to do then Fxck Him and Don't cover ANY work! Of course there are WHOAS that will still do it for any amount. I say Fxck them too! We have to Isolate them and let them know they are a Piece of Shit for not standing by their fellow workers and union. We have over 20 drivers now doing 40+ hours ot and I can name each one!

Do you really think that Pioneer would give back runs? He would be losing a lot more money then paying us what he's paying us now. All Pioneer thinks about is money and not his workers who makes him that money. He has showed that in the past (contract). Let him get fined for not covering the work. As I hear there was about 200 schools (runs) that had to be covered on Friday. Give back the work see if it affects my pocket, the answer is NO!

As far as arbitration goes, that is just a ploy by the union to try and satisfy us. It's like can I have a hamburger TODAY and pay you in 6 months maybe, if we win.

Let me understand this right. You took clean crystal clear water that was filtered so it doesn't pollute the ocean and got it muddy (dirty) and dump it into a sewer, which went right into the bay (ocean as you said). Now you think you did something good!  :snicker: You Polluted the bay with your mud and emissions particles that was stuck on your bus into the bay. Great Job! Maybe you should run for Mayor!  ;D

You have the right to cast your own opinion, that's your right and I not saying you shouldn't. I also understand the new generations thinking "ME ME ME"! Well it's not about you!!! Your paying your dues for the good of ALL. Just like we all pay our dues, for the good of All union members. Some need it more than others, some never need it at all. This is a UNION SHOP and Seniority still matters (to a point).

BTW: I did IS than Mt. Loretta than 2 out RJJ got in after 6pm every night.

I do wish you and your family a Happy, Healthy and Safe Holidays.

LMAO - WigWag16 - I would consider myself a Senior man. I have a school that will be open, and most likely will be able to work at 100% salary doing my run that I picked After Nov.30. So any changes really does not affect me, unless I choose NOT to work and go on unemployment, as Buzz intends to do.

Now how can you justify that "IF" I didn't have a school open with my Seniority and Furloughed (unemployment) , that a Junior man is working and earning a Full salary (no matter what his pay scale is). Do you think that's right?

Let me tell you something you probably don't know. When I started my run was 3 schools in the AM and 4 schools in the PM with TRIPS! Trips were everyday, 5 days a week and if you were lucky you got maybe 1 or 2 days a month you didn't get a trip!!! That's a FACT and the Truth!!! That changed when Eddie became our shop steward and made most new runs trip runs. That's one of the reasons why you don't get trips everyday and when senior men retired they made those runs trip runs. That's why there are Nice trip runs and you DON'T do trips everyday, because there are more trip runs (senior non trip runs) to do the work.

We senior men (now) PAID owe dues much more than YOU are now! With that said "STOP FUCKING CRYING"! Maybe one day in the future you would be a senior man and Appreciate what seniority means!

I really don't know what to say. I will say I hope Janks is OK. As far as WTF ur feeling and words are ur opinion, I respect them but then according to you and CDC rules then everyone in the office now should also quarantine for 14 days because (unlike the majority of us) all were in close proximity of Janks. So if they all come in on Monday or Tuesday then should we also say DAMN them? And if they all don't come in then we're all out of work for 14 days. Unfortunately it's a complicated situation. Only thing I can say as far as work goes if someone doesn't feel safe then stay home. I doubt if you can get fired.

PROUD MEMBER - I also respect your opinion, but it's really Not my opinion! It's the CDC and NY State Guidelines! Everybody wants to hear what we should do if this happens or that happens. Well here are the RULES by the U.S. Government (CDC) and NYS Health Department! You Must quarantine yourself if you knowing in continue contact with someone with Covid. If the office gets tested and it comes back negative from Covid, then there's no quarantine. They all should get tested before they return back to Pioneer. You and I can always recover financially but we can never replace a family member or children who we might get infected by us. I for one could not put money in my pocket (paycheck) knowing that I possibly could be spreading this horrible virus for financial gain. As of this past Saturday's virus update by Gov. Cuomo "NYS for the first time in 3 months NYS had an increase of over 1000 new cases in a signal day". Everybody is in this together, we All must follow the RULES to end this horrible virus!!! That means You and me if need be!

Thank you Tyme for notifying us know about Jenks! We all appreciate you coming on here and telling us what's happening.

Now, what the FUCK!!! This is the most irresponsible thing I have ever heard in this company! I like to know just when he knew that he was in contact with someone that has Covid! If it was early in the week then he should have Not have came to work. He then would have had no regard for All the other office workers and everybody else at Pioneer! Damn him! The possibility that he infected the office and they or him infected some drivers or matrons. Then we then spread it to the children on our buses and they bring it into the class and then bring it home etc.. What the FUCK!!! Damn HIM! I for one don't ever want to see him or even hear his voice on the radio. Even after this is all over with. I have NO respect for him anymore! The CDC guidelines are if you knowing are in contact with someone that has Covid, you MUST quarantine yourself!

Pioneer is no better either! This is just how irresponsible this company is. Not to notify its employees. This comes from the top down! Damn them too!!!

First how do you figure 2 days? It's a fucken week 7 days! That's 7 days I have to wait to pay my back bills etc.. Secondly Now he's a hero because he didn't postpone arbitration. He can't make his millions without drivers! Damn be real! It doesn't take long to notify payroll (etc.) and direct deposit or cut checks to everyone. Pioneer knows exactly who and how much he stole from everybody. Payment could be sent in 2 days with no problem. We should have Not pulled 1 bus out this month until we got our money!!!! NO MONEY - NO WORK!!!!

Sorry Ernie ahead of time:

Why the fuck should we pull even 1 bus out for this company when he OWES us "OUR" accrual and opt out money! He stole our money kept if for over 3 months (and collected interest on it), forced our union to take him to arbitration, which he then lost and was ordered to pay us by September 30. Lets not forget this was the time that most of us needed it!

Now with all the bullshit going on this week, you want to give this company a pass by not paying us AS THE ARBITRATOR ORDERED! You stated it's because of this week's "mass confusion". Let's not forget we came in on the last minute, did our jobs, with this "mass confusion"!!!. Now you want us to wait another week. I can't afford waiting another hour, never mind another week. Bullshit, Pioneer should have had our checks made and sent out months ago. There should have been NOTHING hard or different for them since they been doing this for decades. Here's an idea, Don't pull out Friday or any other day till he PAYS US OUR MONEY!

Todays Update on the Virus.

Of the 85,630 COVID-19 test results that came back on Saturday, 729, or 0.85 percent, were positive, Cuomo said in a release. New York state reported nine new deaths on Sunday, bringing its fatality toll to 25,359, he said.

This could be you or a family member: Parents, Grandparents, Children, Grandchildren or a relative etc..

oh btw you can't spread it to anyone in the office, because "they are protected"!
