Don't see why we wouldn't have the same as the MTA or at least something similar, they had six months. Could've built a sky scraper in that time.

Ahh c'mon ... even the Empire State Building took 14 months.  ;D ;D ;D

I don't think it's a matter of time as it is $$$ and/or safety concerns.

Safety concerns? Do you think Pioneer cares if you get sick or you bring the virus home and someone in your family gets sick or God Forbid DIES! I doubt that would make any difference to Pioneer, only that they would need another driver to cover your run! I would like to know if we can hold Pioneer liable for Not having the proper safety equipment in place to protect their employees. Especially since other companies and the city (MTA) have installed driver protection!

Work Related / ACCRUAL CHECK
September 02, 2020, 04:21:05 AM
Did anybody get their Accrual check?

All this BS about delayed start, teachers strike, schools are ready, which driver(senior or junior) starts, how many runs are there and if there is a pick etc. etc.?

How about OUR MONEY First! Then tell us what Pioneer has done to PROTECT US! This is what we should be talking about!!!

It's NO JOKE! He stole OUR money and don't want to give it Back!!!! What's funny about that??
Either give me (US) back everything you took from me (US), so you can be able to bid for your work, (which you didn't) and give US a fucken raise. If Not, my vote is NO to any other contract you offer.

He has SHIT! It's a BULLSHIT LAWSUIT. They lost the election and then a vote by the members to see if the membership wants another election for the President, Vice President etc. and the EB. That vote was 100% by the members present NOT to have another election! So they filed a BULLSHIT LAWSUIT that is still pending in court to overturn the 1st election and 2nd vote by the membership. John all members in GOOD STANDINGS are entitled to vote (as you know), which includes having their union dues paid up to date. NOT 6 months or years in the arrears! John the only thing you are trying to do is disrupt the a hard working membership with lies to benefit yourself and your unqualified friends. Be a man (which is not in your character as we all know) even if its the hardest thing you ever did, and congratulate the winning slate, or at least crawl back up the asshole you came out of and never be heard from again! Us members (in GOOD STANDINGS) have more important TOPICS (as a new contract) to discuss. Hope this clears up what's going on to you Grrrr..

Your a FXCKIN LIER! This never happened!

"the United States Federal Government by bringing our union into a Federal Courtroom has now justified , and brought to truth everything we all knew for years, THAT WE WERE ROBBED, robbed of the right of having a free and fair election of the people that we would trust with our civil rights, our livelihoods, our health and well being, our future pensions, this basic right of a working man was taken from us by greedy power hungry crooks. BUT BUT BUT they got caught, two counts of election fraud, manipulation of the voter mailing list and manipulation of the voter eligibility list and now they must pay the price,"

Go slid back up the asshole you came out of, You POS!

I heard a RUMOR today that our next contract with Pioneer will be for ONE year only. Anyone hear anything at all. After all our present contract is coming to an end.

As per Ernie: "Please, it's all bullshit."

I'm sure he'll let us know when there's any news of this nature.

Our present contract will expire at the end of June. By that time we should know if Pioneer got an extension. With or without any progress on the EPP. Pioneer is and will be a 1181 union shop. Pioneer has to hire 1181 drivers or has to CLOSED (GO OUT OF BUSINESS) his doors, and his extension will be Void, even if he opens up under a new company name. Now is the time to make our Stand. Don't settle for Nothing less than our previous contact and the monies that we lost in this contract, that we gave up under "Good Faith" so he can "stay in business". Our Strike will be much nicer on a warm September day too!!!

Well I heard the Easter Bunny is real.  Now if you really want to have a topic on a new contract, I think if Neil gets an extension from OPT ( 1 year, 2 years, 5 years) we should fight (Strike) to get back EVERYTHING we gave up and also a RAISE from the money he stole from us from the last contract, since he Didn't lose ANYTHING!

What exactly do they do with the checks look at them once and send them out I mean what is the point of this process does anyone know. Can we go there and pick ip our own checks. what is the phone # again to the NLRB I did not get my check maybe I should try to see if i can make an appointment to pick my check up. what do you think Buzz. Has any one tried that yet to pick up their own check.

Yes, one person told me he tried, but they told them he could not do that. But you could try.

First, I got my check last week.

I called 3 weeks ago and asked if I could go and pick up my check, I also asked if we can send down 2 drivers to pick up All  of our checks, as we brought them to NLRB. She said they will NOT allow anyone to pick up their check. The only person(s) that did pick it up, is if the check was returned to them and they were able to get in contact with the person. I Don't think you will be able to pick it up. Good Luck if you decide to go.
