I called today spoke to a Kelly (lying bitch), she took my name and number and said someone from the NLRB will call me back today! Still waiting!! >:(
I'm going to call again, again, again tomorrow until I speak to someone and get an answer to "WHERE'S MY FXCKEN CHECK!"

I heard that their answer was "that they are under staffed, that there are thousands of checks to be done and the weather was bad". They also stated that "it will be at least 2 more weeks before they start sending them out"!  >:(

Why can't we send 2 drivers there with a list of names that did not get their checks and pick them up. Just as we brought the checks to them? Is that too hard to do?

I'll answer your question with a question: Suppose Neil hands over the checks and the DOE doesn't release his money? What then?

So there is another side to the coin, my friend.

(FYI ... they're holding a couple of million, which is needed to cover the checks)

like proud member answer he would have to take legal action against the DOE.

Now if neil does send the checks to the NLRB tomorrow,  doesn't that says that HE HOLD OUR MONEY TO THE VERY LAST DAY? Which only confirms what 1 union has been saying and we all know whats true! He has lied to us and "you" again. What break do you want us to give? I know the break he deserves.

I spoke to Ernie and he clarified everything. As I assumed Neil not the Union is the "Villain". Either Neil outright lied to Buzz or Buzz misunderstood him (which I doubt). Ernie said "Approximately two weeks ago the Union notified the DOE in writing to release the money." I do not want to quote Ernie any further than that. The bottom line is our attorneys are trying to rectify this situation but regardless if Neil doesn't have the checks delivered to the NLRB by the end of the business day this Friday he will be in defiance.

Upon Ernie's suggestion, I called Eddie and yes, the union did send the DOE that letter but the DOE did not release the money, instead they responded with a request that 1181 submit in writing a statement saying that we were paid. Of course, the union would not do that without us actually having been paid, thus the current dilemma. To my way of thinking, Neil did not lie to me, (our conversation was strictly about the cutting of the checks and the reason for the latest delay), and if anybody is the culprit here I'd say it is the DOE. Strictly my opinion.

(It is also still my opinion that an agreement on this will be reached by Friday.)

Apparently the DOE does Not trust Pioneer (Neil) either. If the DOE releases the money and neil doesn't pay us then what??? Now who is playing games? Do you still feel neil should get a break and we should feel sorry for him that he was mislead?

Just be lucky you're not going to be fired like me and my 1181 Atlantic Express co-workers on Dec 31st.

Easy hongnol, He's an 1181 brother also getting fuxked! I know it was a simple mistake, the AE SI guys that crossed our line got Fuxked with their new contract too. The only difference is that they deserved it, the bastards.

You guys must have been in the sun too long last week! The contractors postponed the NLRB till 7/22/13. That was known BEFORE school ended!!! It did Not come from the shop steward in the Bronx! It was said by the shop steward in STATEN ISLAND! Erinie told everybody that was willing to listen to All the Facts and Updates as they happen. Eucerin I have a lot of respect for you and always did, but this time you disappointed me with this post. I always read your previous posts sometimes agree and disagree with them. I thought you knew what you were talking about (fact) and didn't go by heresay or bullshit when you talked. You of All people should know the court system and how slow it works. We All want this to be over with yesterday, but it doesn't work that way. If there's No news then there's No news and No anouncement. I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer, but don't stay in the sun too much.

That's what I believe the case was about, it was a bogus impasse by the contractors.  That's what Michael said at the union meeting. That we were taking the contractors to nlrb for claiming a false impasse.

FACT:  All Drivers.....Front Rows......Need their coffee and paper.....this f@#%in  s#@t makes me sick.  Check their start times it will boggle your mind.  Approach them and you're wrong or listen to their "valid" excuse.

I edited your quote to All Drivers....

Here is 1 excuse I got last week "I get here early to get a parking spot on the street". another one today "I get my paper and coffee and wait by the stop" we must have talked to the same driver!!!!!!!!!!!
As I stated above "Wake Up Guys" the fight just begun. We have to show unity, it maybe a little inconvience for you to change your routine, but it must be done!!!

We ALL should bring our buses back after the am run, take our cars and go (where ever or stay in the driver's room), then go back out and do the pm. Just think how much wasted fuel that would burn in a month...
