Today I received this weeks check....but no I still did not get last weeks check. 

I am one of the 8 who has still not received my mailed check. Mail man says mail should not be delayed.All my regular mail is fine..like bills lol

A secretary that works for Reliant Transportation said that they are talking with Neil to purchase the company. I hope this does not happen. If the union is so strong that he is going to get an extention on his contract, why does Reliant want to buy the company??? and if Reliant does take it over with no EPP there would be a board of ed master pick, and $15.00 and hour..  I hope this does not happen.....  just simply what I heard.....

Is it true that we are going to get pink slips?? what is that all about? I would really like to know everyones imput, not rumors..

Are the bids going out in May? What is everyones thoughts if Neil does not get a 2 year contract is he going to sell? what's going to happen to us??

What is the big rush with this contract?? The new mayor said he would sit in on union negotiations.. If the new mayor puts the epp back in for future contracts we don't need Neil,let him loose his work, we will just follow the work into the next company. Didn't the board of ed just have a master pick for 150 escorts and drivers?? Our union should have one contract for all 1181 drivers not separate ones. I vote NO for this so called new contract...  Did Cordiello take a pay cut?? Doubt it... I smell a rat.....

What you are saying is true. The problem is there are many non union companies out there. making less then we are..I wonder who let them do that..??  Anyway, I totally agree that he should honor our existing contract until 2015, but apparently he is not. Is the new mayor going to help us?? We have to be strong and I feel that what Ernie directs us to do we should stand behind him.

The situation we are in now stinks... there are too many non-union company's and that is whats hurting us.  The mayor would love us to go on strike, we would be done.. We have to wait for the official ruling and injunction hopefully, and pray that our union and the new mayor will help us.... As of June, 26th 2,000 drivers are out of work.. lets not join them..

In relation to what you wrote.. Neil will not bankrupt his runs.. he will wait for his contract to be up and then do it.. Its common sense, he is making big money now with the contracts he has now. He is going to wind up paying everything back. The question is when.... There are alot of new drivers in the company now because they do not want to hire from the unions master list..

Alot of good drivers are taking the buyout because they had it...

I feel Neil is doing this because of the pending law suit he has to have the epp taken out.  If that happens he will have his way. If it doesn't happen he will not have his way. But he is trying. The union has lawsuits against the board of ed. and the contractors.  The fight is not up yet.  We have to do things legally.. It is not 1979 anymore.  I feel that the yard people in our yard should not move buses. He will be stuck and the violations alone will hurt him.  Drivers can't get in trouble for this because he has to provide us to get out. September will be the big tell all.

I heard that Hoyt, grandpas, bobbys bus company recieved letters that as of June.27th.. they are no longer employed by them anymore!!....  I know we were told not to believe rumors.. but I wonder... What is our fate??  Our contractor is stealing our money from the board of education.. because that money provides our salary... He is such a liar with his letters to us during the strike.. that we would be the same for two years..etc.. everyone gets their day,, and he will get his....
