Well I'm answering my own question.  After contacting the Pension Department three times I got my answer.  If Pioneer closes it's doors on June 26th and you are eligible to retire - or thinking about it - In order to keep your medical coverage under the pension plan you MUST RETIRE BY JULY 1st.  There can be no break in medical coverage. Surprise to me!!! I thought I could retire anytime and keep my medical.  Why doesnt anyone know this!! Why isn't anyone talking about this? and what the hell is going on?

Deos anyone know... if Pioneer closes it's door in June, can you be unemployed and on the master driver list and then decide to apply for your pension and will you keep your medical under the pension plan or must you be active to collect your pension and keep your medical.
