He always bends over for the teachers union. The agreement should have been a 2.5-3 percent threshold IN THE SCHOOLS! Not the entire city, how are you gonna let outside factors factor into school closings. He and Carrazana are horrible

Thanks Buzz I'll look into it and call Friday. I think it also had to do with me working at Amazon prior because when I opened my claim in July 2019 I was claiming off Amazon/Department of Education since I was with pioneer only 3
Weeks at the time, but yeah I'll look into it

Yes, worth a try ... but I didn't realize it was based on prior employment. Doubt you were making as much. But there's nothing to lose by calling.

Did you try the calculator?

Not sure how the calculator works I mean like physically I know how to but not sure exactly what to put in

Everybody happy?
Yes I'm thrilled to be going to unemployment where my pay rate dropped from 504 to 358.

Yeah, your unemployment situation sucks. Did you happen to get a raise between the 4th and 5th quarters prior to the quarter in which you opened your new claim?

You can thank Pelosi that we're not getting an additional $300 on top of state unemployment.

Uhhh yeah we got the raise in July and I opened a new claim in August. I was told my quarterly wages were low because I stopped working....no shit lol but that's what I was told

Everybody happy?

Why would I be happy? Because I'm getting 85 percent the day after Thanksgiving. I'd rather be working. Yes I'm thrilled to be going to unemployment where my pay rate dropped from 504 to 358. I'm thrilled that my run is getting taken from me and not going to make my weekly pay and make shit on unemployment. If my rate never dropped I'd be like go ahead take my run I'm making 504 a week but sorry I got royally fucked in this arrangement meanwhile I pay dues to union in which this decision doesn't benefit me at all. So yea Buzz I'm ecstatic to be going back to unemployment making shit lol

Yeah I know the response, seniority union shop etc....

I just thought of a crazy situation, what would be the answer be. Try and follow me.

Say when special Ed opens up BUT a special Ed driver is doing my run for December now that's been given to him. When he goes back to special Ed do I get my run back or will they go back to the list and call the next guy on the list that's out of work because Gen Ed didn't re open.

The mayor said that schools would reopen in waves and District 75 schools, or special education, would have first priority because of those students' dire need for in-person learning. The next group to return to schools would be early education students — 3-K and pre-K — and then elementary school students, de Blasio said. Schools Chancellor Richard Carranza has said the goal is to reopen schools by next month.

Can someone putt the both of them out of their misery

When schools reopen routes should go back to the way they are now. The other thing is, what happens if they reopen in stages? And are they carrying shapes now based on seniority?

Making stuff as they go bro.

So when they say routes are being deleted.....those runs will be active again once school opens back up and guys who had their runs given away will get their runs back

Looks like the furlough is coming. Pioneer sent an email that routes are being worked on by the union.

I'm calling bullshit but it is what it is, making stuff up as they go. I just paid union dues to have a decision not benefit me at all.

Hey Buzz......for us drivers that are likely having our runs given away meaning we won't work Monday, when should we hand in our monthly driving logs? Today or go in he office Monday?
