Has anyone recently opened a new claim? Mine is next Sunday. Was wondering if it went smoothly with no delays in getting paid.

Two things a little different ... First, besides your license number they wanted the first 3 characters of the document number of your license.

Also, if you were on direct payment it would automatically stay that way unless you changed it. This time it said that information would not be carried forward and you had to enter your banking info again.

I don't anticipate any problem getting payments, the first of which I won't get for 2 weeks.

Gotcha thanks....I'm actually doing license transfer today from NY to NJ to put my new address, so I'm assuming when I get to the license part I gotta put in my new NJ license even if don't have the hard copy. And sorry to ask a dumb question what do you mean first 3 characters of the document number on your license

I just looked at my old interim license and it doesn't have a doc # on there so if I'm doing my license transfer today I basically cant do a new UI claim until my hard copy license comes in ? unless they can give me the doc # without having a hard copy yet at the jersey dmv

No idea ... you'll have to ask.

I just did my transfer of my license to NJ and they said they don't have document numbers on the back of their license

I opened a new book 3 weeks ago and got my 1st direct deposit 2 weeks later.
In my case there was nothing different than in the past.
It did not ask me for the 1st three characters (not sure of what that they even are), all I have is the 9 numbers and did not ask me to put in my direct deposit information again.

Gotta open a new claim today. It says open a new claim or file on my old one...I'm gonna just open the new claim I don't think I can do both

So I went to open a new claim and it says I can't because I have a current claim on file. My year end date is  today the 21st do I claim on my old one for the last time today then next week open a new claim?

Just filed my new claim, had to put the 3 digit document number, my
Direct deposit again.

But why does it say 73 remaining days and not 104. Maybe that's what I had left after I claimed yesterday on my
Old claim?

I was on hold with unemployment and the girl said it says 73 because the new claim hasn't updated and that's what I had on my old claim so once to fully updated it will say 104

I never pay attention to days remaining. Never made sense.

Another thing that never made sense ... having a "waiting week."

I guess the 104 is max weeks

I'm hoping I get back to the max. I was at 504(with Amazon) pandemic happened opened a new claim it was 345. We went back to work with interruptions opened a new claim it's 396. Gotta figure working a full year with summer school no stoppage on a higher salary I should hopefully be back at 504

I just added all of my gross salary into the 4 quarters and it calculated be getting 504 base and 504 alternate

04-06 21= 10,565.60
07-09 21= 7,656.96
10-12 21= 13,398.96
01-03 22= 11,089.976
04-06 22= 11,136.92(alternate)

So I claimed yesterday 8/28 for my waiting week and I checked this morning 8/29 and it says the waiting week wasn't released in my paid history(shows nothing) just states I claimed this week already and that they still are working on my application although I did get a letter in the mail on the 23rd saying I got approved of the 504. Will I see the waiting week released in my paid history when they release my first claim when I claim next week?

It originally said claim Wednesday the 31st no later than the 3rd to validate my claim then after I completed the new claim it said claim anywhere from the 28th till the 3rd. So I claimed yesterday the 28th. When will I see the waiting week released? As I stated before the waiting week wasn't released in my payment history and still doesn't show the 504 I am getting in the letter sent to my house. I'm assuming the next time for me to claim is 9/4 to get paid 9/7 not 8/31 since I claimed on the 28th

It should show in a few days that your claim was applied to your waiting week. Yes, claim again on the 7th.

Buzz do you have to create a new ID Me picture thing after you file a new claim? I know someone who opened a new claim and didn't get his pay released today because he has to make
Another Id thing when he already did that last summer on his
Old claim

Someone I know who opened a new claim two weeks claimed yesterday and didn't have his funds released today after his waiting week was released on the 25th. He had to log into his ID.Me account and allow/verify his account. Someone else in the same situation didn't have an ID.Me account was told you have to create an account or the funds won't be released. If you have an account verify it by logging in and clicking allow for them to release your funds after you filed a new claim. This was never stated in the letter or the prompt when filing for a new claim. I went into my account and verified it so hopefully I won't have any issues with my first payment next week

Yeah he didn't have to make a new photo he just logged in and had to verify his IdME info and allow it to go through. Like I said he got his waiting week, then claimed yesterday and his money wasn't released today.

So basically you opened had your waiting week then got paid the following week with no issues?

I claimed yesterday the 28th for my waiting week. The waiting week should be released Thursday the 1st after looking at my friends account for his waiting week. His waiting week was claimed Sunday the 21st and released Thursday the 25th. I'm going to claim again this Sunday the 3rd to claim my first paid week which should be released on the 6th due to the holiday on the 5th

I should be fine. I got approved of 504 with the letter sent to my house last week, claimed my waiting week yesterday,  I shouldn't have an issue getting my first check when I claim this Sunday but my friend didn't have his money released after claiming yesterday has be a bit worried

I still can't see on my page that my waiting week was released nor can I see the payment amount. I just claimed this morning to get my first paid check the girl on the phone said on Tuesday she sees that I verified my account and that my waiting week was released and I will see my payment amount as well as the waiting week released once I get mt first payment......🤦🏻‍♂️ Guess I'll have to wait till Tuesday/Wednesday

Was your money released today? This is ridiculous I opened a claim on the 22nd claimed by waiting week the 28th, the girl said they saw I verified my account and she sees my waiting week released and I won't see the waiting week released on my end till

And I see nothing in the payment history but they are still
Working on my claim. When I got the letter and all saying I got 504 a week

Instead of getting my usual $504
I got $126.
When I looked up my payment history
Effective days said 1 instead of 4.

I got the full amount. Better call, something's wrong. Maybe accidentally said you worked 3 days? Else the error is on their end.
