Buzz great word... rhetorical !  :))

I agree with Buzz - some people would vote for a stump ...LOL
It sure seems that no matter who runs against the current union leadership these people will ALWAYS say the opposition will do a better job. They do seem bitter. They talk about experience - how much experience would a new slate have? Its comical! Does it make sense to bash Eddie Gigs for retiring? I know Eddie wanted to retire a few years ago and was convinced to stay on. I know I told Eddie we needed him and asked him NOT to retire! It is just time for him to relax and enjoy his family!

It always seems that some members of the Union ALWAYS are 'on board' with the opposition to the current board. Must be personal!...lol

Ernie-
For selfish reasons-myself and ALL the people I am close with ALWAYS want you to stay at Pioneer. Over the years, I can not count how many guys and gals you saved with your advice and sometimes even getting "loud" with management in the office. More than once, you could be heard from the drivers room defending one of our drivers or matrons. It is a SHAME that you even had to justify yourself to the scumbags that talk sh*t out of their mouths about what you did or didnt do and how much you got paid during the strike. It just figures that after posting that sh*t ...now it is stated that it is an 'anonymous' letter. The one thing you did fail to mention was that you did all of that during the strike at the expense of your HEALTH. There surely is not alot of people who would have put in the hours / effort/ and support for our drivers and matrons that you did. THANK YOU.

Let us all not forget - in addition to providing breakfast and lunch for the students - NYC public school is the largest babysitting service in the world!...lol
Notice NOBODY mentioned anything about learning/education - just lunches and inconveniencing parents if school is closed!...LOL
Only in this city  :))

Give the union president credit for having the intelligence to send a letter - but not sure this reply by the mayor is a vote of confidence that he will back us for the EPP. Seems almost like a 'form' letter - BUT at least the mayor responded back!

Buzz...I heard the First Student buses are being parked by Staten Island Schools for when school starts up. Heard that they don't have a yard to park in out here and will leave the buses parked by the schools for their drivers/matrons to pick up on school days!
