Finally got paid today. July 6th I opened new book.

Here's an update. So I went on today and it shows my weekly/yearly benefit has changed from 0.00 to 358 along with the total amount. It also says my paid waiting week was processed today.
You last certified for benefits for the week ending 08/16/2020.
Your unpaid waiting period was processed on 08/20/2020.

So according to this I shouldn't have any issues claiming this Sunday and getting paid Tuesday

I guess 358 is better than 0.00 and that's before tax so more like 325 lol

Heard a lot of people have been having more success on the phone. I opened mine over the phone this past Monday. All my information was updated Thursday. It said my waiting week was processed already. I claimed today and it said it will process the next business day. So as long as it gets released tomorrow as usual I'm good to go on my new claim but I recommend doing it on the phone.

Yep, WigWag16, that's the message I get too. Except I did certify online for the week ending the 16th, even though the "specialist" told me she did it for me, (she apparently didn't), so it doesn't show me the second part of what you posted any more.

Yes and they backdated my start claim a week so I didn't have a waiting week

Yes, I was able to claim but I don't know if it means anything. Also claimed last week, 8/16 and it doesn't show in my payment history. It has the week before that, 8/9 and says "Last day worked." UGH!

My start date says 8/3 but should be 8/10 ... thought that's how I would get paid for the waiting week but  I haven't gotten anything yet!

Talked to a driver yesterday who got a letter from DOL requiring him to submit a copy of 2 forms of ID ... like license, SS card etc. Very unusual. Anybody else have this happen?

Hey Buzz, I called Monday and opened my new claim 8/17 but they back tracked it to 8/10 so I wouldn't have a waiting week. Thursday my claim went from 0.00 Dollars to 358 and 10,000 for the year. My viewed payments had the last week I claimed on my old claim 8/16 and then above that had waiting week 8/20 PROCESSED. I claimed today as usual with the usual questions and then it said your claim is in processing and will be processed in the next business day. So thats how it was even with my old claim. My claim was released on Monday's and paid on Tuesday's so hopefully it remains the same with the new claim. Shall see what happens tomorrow.

Well, I was all ready to start dialing and re-dialing DOL at 7:55 this morning but before doing so I checked my payment history once again. And what to my wondering eyes should appear? It looks like my account somehow got straightened out. As of last night it did not show any payment for 8/16. This morning, not only was that reflected, but I was surprised that this past Sunday's claim is already paid!

Although it shows 8/9 as "Last week worked" it was actually the last day of my previous claim and I did get paid for that week. Being they back dated the start date to 8/3 (instead of 8/10) I did not lose a week, i.e., no waiting week. Phew!


However, it started out as 104 "Effective Days." Unemployment is based on 4 days per week. 104 divided by 4 is only 26 weeks ... which is the usual. Where are the extended benefits???

Yes, it says Direct Deposit. If you don't see that on the pic I posted maybe it's the way your phone is rendering it. Try looking at your account on another device, preferably a computer.
