Taking Temperatures Aboard Buses

As apparently was the case at Petirdes last week, school personal may board the bus to take children's temperatures.

HOWEVER, if a child does have a fever, you may not transport that child back home, to their stop, or anywhere else. The school must remove the child from the bus and arrange for transportation home.

If this should become an issue at any school, contact the office immediately. The union made it abundantly clear to the company and dispatchers that we will not transport children that are running a fever.
