Carl will be in on Monday 10/3 between 10:00 am - 4:00 PM. If you can't see him then, put your  rent in a envolope Monday morning with your name and bus number, and put it in the mailbox monday morning when you get in.

Update on a location;

I'm still trying to find another location. Wednesday I contacted the renter of the smaller (10 spots lot before us) lot and offered to rent it again from him, since he's not really using it. His answer was that he's paying $1,000 for that land and wants to keep it for his employees or customers that may need it.

The owner does not want to give us any more land that he cleared behind us. He said he's going to put up a fence along the creek. If anyone knows of or have a idea for parking, let me know and I will follow up on it.

As usual you can pay Grace if it's easier.

Hello All,

Curves:

Carl will be in tomorrow Wednesday 9/14 until 4:00 pm. If you did not pick up your parking permit, please get it tomorrow. All cars must have a permit in the window starting tomorrow! There are no extra spots, so secure your spot with your permit. He said "HE WILL TOW ANY CAR WITHOUT A PERMIT".


Johnson Street:

I will try to be there today at 3:00 pm and hand out the permits. As you seen the owner has the watchman there checking our cars and wants permits in the window. I know he has been harassing you and I will speak with him again today about it. Please put the permits in the window and if you use a different car and don't have the permit with you, just write your permit number, name and telephone on it.

Bad News;

Our Last hope for a location fell through! I got a text that they DO NOT want to rent the property.

Everybody that already Paid can call me for a full refund. I should be home all day Saturday, Sunday, and Monday morning, if you want to come by and pick it up. Otherwise call me when your available next week and we can make other arrangements.

I like to Thank every parking member for the years we have been together. Unfortunately, I cannot fit everyone in a location at this time. Sorry I gave it my best shot. If any location becomes available, you will be the first calls I make for it!

I also want to Thank Grace and Tommy Pezz with their help on this. I also want to thank Buzz for letting me (us) use his site!


PS: Curves is completely Full at this moment. If there are any changes when school starts, I will notify the drivers.

Yes, It's true we lost lot # 1 the big lot on Johnson Street! I found out yesterday morning from the beauty parlor on the corner. I called the owner, and he confirmed it. He said the property is for sale and is in negotiations with the owner (of the stores) on the corner. The store owner took over our lot for his employees and customers of the stores.

Tommy Pezz and I rode around over 3 hours yesterday searching for another location. We spoke with 3 other property owners and wasn't able to secure a lot. There is one other business that was closed yesterday which I will try to meet today if they are open. I will kept everybody informed by Monday how I make out, I will post it and call all members of the lot.


If I am unable t secure a lot by Monday, I will return all rents to those that have paid and lost their  parking spots, by Thursday. I am trying my best to find a location that's reasonable.


As it is said "Business is Business" and the owner will do what's good for him.

I will keep everyone informed!

Thank you LMAO, I do try to accommodate everybody's request. After the September pick it's really a lot of hours, I put in to set up who can park with who by their times in and out of the lots. I make many changes as the month (year) goes on, usually by the end of October its easier and I only have to collect the rent. As far as Buzz goes, he did pay Carl last year and his envelope was thrown in the garbage pail by accident (I think by accident?). Carl (curves) only wants to come in once a week from Jersey if he has too. I asked him to come in on Thursday also this week which he was reluctant to do but agreed and posted for everybody to put the rent in the mailbox. But as you read above someone wants him to come in Tuesday and Wednesday so he can sit in an empty bar all day waiting lol. He doesn't understand that 12volt across the street wants the lot for his cars (business) and is willing to pay as much as us, if not more! As you see today the lot is full of 12volt cars and was full all summer while we were gone. These are the facts and I rather not post it, nor get into the details or explain it. I only ask that everybody cooperates, so we don't lose what we have. Thanks Again LMAO

Update on the Parking Lots:

If you had a spot in Any of the Parking Lots, your spot is guaranteed when you return. ONLY if your payment is in by Thursday September 1st. After the pick. Please return last year's permits and have any changes to your car or run number and bus number. We did not lose any spots.

ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE IN TO GUARANTEE YOUR SPOT BY SEPTEMBER 1st.!!!


CURVERS:

Carl will be in on Monday 8/29 and also on this Thursday 9/1 at 10:00 am to collect. If your at the yard before then, leave your payment and information in an envelope in the mailbox. The owners are in process of getting a liquor license and will reopen the bar. We should have parking for the year if they get the license.


Johnson Street Lots:

I also need payment no later than September 1st., to guarantee your spot! Both lots were full in June! As usual there is movement between the yards, and spots may open. As of now I have 4 people waiting to get in. I will hold your spot till September 1st. after that I must fill the (spots) lots and pay the owner. As usual it's the 1st month's rent, last month's rent and a $10.00 sign up ($110.). Please return your last year's permit and your updated information. I will make myself available as much as possible. Please call me if you're going to Sharrots or do not need your spot anymore.

Grace will still be collecting and will be there on Tuesday for pick.

I have been to the Johnson Street lots today and we are ready to go!

It's local driving distance, mostly to N.J some Brooklyn runs. No more then 50 miles tops. Make your own days when your available. Summer Parking

Curves is offing parking spots to everybody that is doing summer runs. The price is $35.00 for July. He rented the right side of lot where the electric transformers are to 12 volt across the street. We only have the left side where the dumpster is to park. So there is about only 20 spots available. If you need a spot see Grace after the summer pick.
