We tried that 6 years ago. Didn't work out so well.

Correct me if I'm wrong but putting Reliant aside most of us MAY have the same contract but aren't they still separate contracts between 1181 and each specific owner. So no matter what, wouldn't it be hard to "get together?"

Except for Reliant, we all now have the same contract but, of course, each company has a contract with the DOE. They don't contract with 1181, but with each company.

I know each company each company contracts with the DOE.
I was saying that although we all have the same contract (except Reliant),
1181 contracts with each company separately not a coalition. That's why it hard to "get together."
Example: Under the new contract we get Easter week. If Neil does not pay us for that week and Consolidated Members get paid for it then Pioneer Members have the right to strike but Consolidated Members doesn't and cannot honor us and strike with us without risk of losing their jobs.
