In an effort to obtain a letter from Empire Blue Cross that my coverage is inactive, as of the furloughed date of April 30 from Pioneer. I was told by the representative that I spoke with, this date and at 1:30 PM, my coverage was still active?? Therefore she could not send me a letter of termination! This she said was the most current information...guess I'll keep checking with the site.

As of yesterday Blue Cross Blue Shield benefits have been terminated ...however if you have a name and time you spoke to them please advise so I can correct this..Because as of RIGHT NOW no one in 1181 has medical benefits from Blue Cross Blue Shield.

when I log on to my account this is what I see under benefits:

I just got off the phone with Blue Cross at 1:50 and the termination status is not showing as of yet.The representative said he would call me back when it goes through.He said it would probably be complete no later than Wednesday.
