Nah ... they'd rather badmouth the union all the way to the bank.

Actually, she's right ... but it's also something her parents and Bloomy's should have practiced!  :snicker:

1181 Matters / No complaints!

Just called our delegate to verify an assumption on my part, but it's absolutely true ... Not one single person called the union to complain about the raise they got in this week's check!

I believe so ... to prepare, it would be helpful if you became familiar with the Pythagorean theorem.  :rotfl:

Oh, OK ... I thought you meant all bus drivers. If you liked this one, you'll love the one about the importance of driving with the proper tire pressure.

He admitted yesterday there are some parents who need to work and if schools are closed what would they do with the child .

The same thing they did with them all Christmas week, or will do with them Presidents' week, etc., etc., etc. Besides, most of their parents stayed home yesterday.

Must admit the film was worth seeing. It should be showed to all drivers .
... And it probably will be.

Not about common sense. I convinced it must be about dollars and cents. Bloomy must be thinking about the state dollars that would be lost if he closed schools. That's the only thing that makes sense to me. He knows there's no learning going on when over half the kids aren't in attendance, or when no third grade teachers at PS 50 made it in so they assigned the kids to other grades for the day. There's no logical reason for keeping schools open on a day like today except for the money.

Yep. Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail shall prevent the refresher class from taking place.  ;D

Wouldn't help us if every parent in the city kept their kids home. If he doesn't say schools are closed, we're working!  :'(

Snow's coming down already. Thought it wasn't supposed to start until midnight. Hope Bloomy get up real early to tell us schools are closed and to go take in a Broadway matinee.  ;D
