we have to give a big thanks for the drivers room being opened for all of us to use the bathroom.also the wood pallets.we need to stay strong and beat this prick bloomy .pioneer is a 1st class operation and neil deserves to be given a lifetime contract along with us 1181 employees.its nice to be able to do this on a friendly level and to have support both ways this is what makes pioneer the best company ,from time to time we all have our differnces with the office but when push comes to shove its nice that we can all band together, let hope we can continue and remember these days when we beat this and go forward and make this an even better company that it already is..

now bloomy this new contract he put out has the same standards we currently have.so he says .19a ,cdl, medicals, physical performance, safety classes, yes new companies can find that just like the current companies have in the past.but with what he wants to do is turn this industry into access a ride and the pre k mess...we are all here for the duration.this job isnt a stepping stone.we care about our jobs its our futures ,why dont he look at the senority list and realize guys and girls take this job knowing we are going to be here for 10+ years..yeah go get your 12.00 an hour drivers and look at the senority list, the top guy will have 2 years senority i would gaurantee that.the standards of this great service our company and 1181 employess provided will greatly diminished at the expense of the safety of the kids .he talks about the cost from 1979 to the present.he makes it sound so astronomical, just look at what he did to the cost of living in the past 11 years here in nyc, then factor in cost of fuel ,insurance, the number runs due to the increase number of schools and the traffic mess all 5 boroughs face everyday.i remember joe bouno saying at a safety class once that years back pioneer could give a time it would take to get from one piont of staten island to opposite side of the island within a minute or two of what it would take to get there, then he went on to say today you could never due that cause of the traffic situation.so bloomy what you make out to be sure a huge increase in the cost of transportation is not  so huge its actually quite small if you really look into the factors which are involved .
then look at our buses ,we have always had good equipment but in the past 5 years or so neil has updated his fleet of buses ,we dont even mind driving a spare bus when we need to even the spares have been upgrade, how could this mayor want to diminish this quality of service.
why dont he take into consideration hurricane sandy, when so many of our fellow co waorkers lost there homes and lives and when schools reopened all of our buses had a driver in them and the kids got to school safely, and when the doe needed buses to transfer kids to alternate schools we did it with basically no problems at all..neil was able to get extra buses on the road and was also able to produce extra drivers who are waiting to get a job in this current industry.try and get this with new companies and cheaper employess . it just goes to show you just how stupid a mutli billionaire could be ..so your  79 million to the current 1.1 billion in 33 years cost increase is not so bad mr.bloomy if you look at the whole picture

Buzz

10-4, buddy. The company knows why we're out there and I don't think there is ill feelings either way ... thank goodness. And yes, Pioneer is and always has been the envy of the industry and rightfully so.

What Bloomberg doesn't take into consideration is that there were 1700 runs (1181) in 1979. Today there are 7,700. Then, what about inflation? And that everything costs more in NY?

Also, he compares it to LA. Well, maybe in LA practically every inter-borough NCLB doesn't mean another run. Or maybe they don't do things like airlift a kid from NY by helicopter and take him and a private nurse to Westchester every day ... plus many other specialized services that cost thousands per kid per day. Of course when you figure all that (and inspectors' salaries) in, the per-child average is going to increase accordingly.
I am patient with stupidity, but not with those who are proud of it.
