Also we know he's not going to give the runs back bcz he'll lose a ridiculous amount of money much more than he's spending to cover the work I guess it's like someone else said it's never enough for the profit margin and we're going to suffer the consequences.  Union needs to fight for us arbitration seems like a good idea.

is that even legal? to not pay us what we have coming to us?  what we earn?  i hope the union can right this wrong.  seems like its more of money saver to not pay new drivers benefits and salary and just pay the drivers they have to cover the work.  or am i missing something here.

they should open the schools period!  the states rolling average should have nothing to do with the schools opening and these higher ups should have no say.  .2 percent is not grounds to close schools.  they need to do something and fast!!

that makes me feel better.  some of us have issues the medical is very important and its not so easy to get new benefits especially for family coverage and preexisting medical issues. 

They really shouldn’t take away our benefits again..we need our benefits!  it would inhumane and unethical - especially since we will have to go back at some point just like last time.

First off my opinion is it's a total joke to shut the schools down.  they aren't super spreading. It's only 0.18 percent that's nothing and the city threshold has to go to like 4.5, 3 is way too low. It's all scare tactics due to the holidays.

Now I've said this once we got back to work that Pioneer, and the Union should have let us know a "what if" plan if the schools are closed for two weeks or a month as far as pay, insurance and if non public schools are getting serviced. Here we are 6:30 and nobody knows If they are going in for their Catholic or Jewish school run. Me personally I have until 3 to find out if I'm working RJJ but the people who have to drive the kids in NEED to know like yesterday. Can't be pulling this last minute stuff. Ok so just saw schools are closed until further notice. What does this mean for us? Will we kee our benefits and get paid 85 percent?

Its bcz these stupid parents are not complying!

The benefits i got are expensive but if i let them go im not so sure they will be easy to get back if need be. What to do what to do???

This question is for Buzz i think bcz he's in the know or can find out!  so when we lost our benefits some of us got supplemental benefits through another insurer to get us through.  im wondering if we get furloughed again, will we again lose our benefits? or are we taken care of for this year?  im afraid to get rid of the other coverage for fear this will happen again.
