I have been getting more information from the parents than from the company or the Union. According to the parents my school is still closed on Monday. It's a public school.

that makes sense  hopefully this is across the board...that way we are all ready to go,like in september

Not looking for an argument but how is it companies like Hoyt and Reliant are already informing their workers about next week but over at Pioneer not a peep. Just doesn't make sense from where I am sitting. Pioneer has to account for at least 50 percent of the busing here on Staten Island. I would think it would be in the best interest of OPT and The BOE to inform us of what it looks like for Monday.

Maybe where those companies work aren't orange zones. That may be complicating things.
I am patient with stupidity, but not with those who are proud of it.

Possibly at this point Buzz anything is possible.

All I heard on the news just now was DeBlasio wants schools open on Monday, he's working with the state and it's not up for debate that they want kids 5 days a week but schools aren't prepared to do that they said.

I think the question also falls into play that buses will def 100 percent be over crowded, how do we handle that? Oh yeah no plan or email from pioneer or the union just yet.

LMAO

Just went on PS42 web site for any info .  statement from principal on December 2 ,  they will be full remote  December 7 while in orange zone but are still waiting for further instruction from the state !  Not looking to good !

At this point it wouldn't be wise to go to 5 days a week. dB should realize that. Maybe he will if he ever comes out of his drug-induced stupor.

He can say whatever he wants. Schools will only be allowed to go 5 days a week based on there enrollment. They still need to follow the guidelines and the 6ft of separation is going to restrict the schools that have more children showing up from going 5 days a week. Dumblasio can wish upon a star but reality is reality.

We had such a good rhythm going and this ass wants to screw things up as usual

Spoke to Anthony Friday and he stated to me that this coming week will be handled the same as this past week.  If their is a shortage of routes to be covered it will be handled the same way whereas senior members will work.  Whether their are 50-80%etc. to be covered that's the way it will be.  I pray we all work!

Hammer2161

Thanks Steady,
I think most if not all of us understood that to be the case. The only thing we can pray for now is that we all get back to work. Trying to keep the FAITH.
