A number of people use Dr. Weiner on Forest Hill Rd. as I did for about 10 years. Nice guy, friendly, usually accepts our coverage as full payment for most things. However I feel it was due to his negligence that I needed $12,000 worth of implants last year.
I believe Dr. Brenman on Bay St. also accepts our coverage as payment in full. Have not used him myself but a number of drivers do.
You can use this link to find a dentist that takes our coverage. Just put in "1181" as the union number and your zip code. If you need a specific type on dentist you can choose it from the the speciality list at the bottom. Work Related / Public School Year Calendar Revised

It came to my attention that the 2023-2024 School year calendar has been revised to add 3 days off this spring for PUBLIC schools. They are Monday, April 1 ... the day after Easter ... and Monday April 29 and Tuesday April 30 to extend Spring Recess (Passover) which is the previous week.

Well I understand that one of us left his morning school without making sure all the kids were off the bus. After a hearing I'm sure there will be a hefty suspension ... at the very least.
At least he didn't leave the bus (far as I know) and won't be arrested and lose his job ... as has happened in the past. It takes 10 seconds.

Work Related / School Bus CDL Test Temporarily Made Easier

Apparently until the end of November the "under the hood" part of the CDL test will be suspended for a special school bus driver classification. The purpose is to help the school bus driver shortage.
What I don't get, if I'm understanding it correctly, is that you cannot renew this "S1" restriction unless you get a permit and take a full CDL road test. (See the 6th bullet under "Key points of the FMCSA exemption" on the link below.) Seriously? What the hell is the point?
