Just checked my bank account & the $405 is in there also...when I check the payment history at UI, I see no record of this payment to my account or even a release of the benefit...need to call UI and ask for an overpayment form?

since the contractor's are replacing my job as a driver with non union driver how does this effect the 7 week wait for unemployment....if I am replaced as a driver can't I collect UI now... instead of seven week from the beginning of the strike??

Now in my case I have direct deposit for UI....if I get a  check its deposited into my account?? Am I expected to write a check to unemployment??

I understand from a family member that Access-A-Ride is being used to transport Special Needs students to Public School's...I thought Access-A-Ride was part of the MTA??

It's been a good form of information from our Local Union and well received....What I fail to understand is WHY the NYC media and the news stations have had minimal coverage to no coverage of the City wide Bus Strike??
