Was told by someone in ATU same is applying for pioneer. Pick is postponed. They are meeting with the companies tomorrow.

Says for me to file my next claim Wednesday 9/6, no later than 9/9

Saw a message from a worker who works for NYCBUS their pick today was postponed due to no contract being signed. Same can happen for tomorrows pick with them as well. The union doesn't want them picking it said in the message

I actually just did a license transfer from NY to NJ. I don't need the physical hard copy to open my new claim right? I have my new license number and expiration date, I assume that's all I need. I know last time I opened I needed to put in my number expiration date and like 3 letters on the back of the ID, I looked at my wife's NJ license and all it has is the license number and expiration date with nothing additional on the back. I went for it on the 14th hoping to get it this week.

My benefit year ends today. I just claimed for this week. Now do I file the new claim today or tomorrow? The link is there for me to start it today, I think last year I claimed Sunday and opened the new claim on Monday. If I open it today would it affect my claim that I did today on my last claim?

It says. You may use this system to file a claim for Unemployment Insurance benefits. If you apply for Unemployment Insurance benefits today, your claim will be effective the Monday of the current week. This online system is available between the hours of 7:30 am to 7:30 pm Monday through Thursday (Eastern Time), Friday, 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, all day Saturday, and Sunday until 7:00 pm.

Definitely won't be able to do it if you're picking on Thursday with the refresher now at 3pm. Say we finish the pick at 11-1130 who knows if you'll be done in time before the refresher some may have to come back Friday for the dry run

Btw.... OPT is basically saying we know metrocards + rideshare for students don't work for all but that's what we got in case of a 🚌 strike according to the PIST Facebook group

Yeah schools started July 5th. I was actually away so I started the week after school started so technically general ed was the 5th to the 11th and I think special ed was the 5th to the 14th

PS I'm gonna wait to see if the second payment disappears tomorrow since it's still pending before I reach out to the bank

So I woke up to a double payment of 504 in my bank account from UI... It's weird the website says it only released 504 to me but my bank account shows 2 payments. It must be a glitch on the banks end. I'll see if they reverse it because it's still pending rather than wait all day getting in touch with someone from them... this happen to anyone from claiming UI
