Hey Proud, where did you see that because I can not find it. I was trying to copy and and paste the link for those who would be interested as I am one of them.

I Got the email stating that also.  I have to admit I was shocked they included us and rightly so.  We should be.  I'm anxious to get the shot, I'm partial toward the Moderna vaccine.

It would be efficient for the Health Dept. to come to the yard as when they tested us for the covid weeks ago.

Somehow I was able to fill out a pre administration form and got a confirmation number back. I just can't remember how I did it.

I've been searching for an half hour looking for a link with SPECIFIC info about signing up for an appointment but all I could find was for group "A."

Was it a state website or city?

This is all I could find so far.

I was up at 5:30 ... just ask Golfnut.

Look, if you're on a web page on your phone, tap the three vertical dots in the upper right corner. A menu will appear ... choose "Copy Link." Come to this page, hold your finger down where you would type a message and choose "Paste."

No wonder you drive a bus ... LOL.

I clicked on the link BUZZ posted.  The one that had (1NYC.gov) the bottom link.  Gotham had the only one that would allow an appt. online in Bklyn.  I made an appt.  When it asked for job description I typed in other and added school bus driver then continued.  I believe that the website hasn't updated to the new phase and will.  I know I'm taking a chance but I have a confirmed appt Monday
8:15 AM.  I'll post and let you know if I'm accepted.  Currently it posts  those who are allowed for vaccinations in the first grouping.  I still believe they're slow to update for the second phase.
Also the location I chose is Kings County covid clinic.

What will be your job ID? Union card? DOE ID?

I was able to get the moderna covid shot today.  No big deal no pain.  If I grow a 3rd eye I'll be seeing you. All I had to show was a drivers license & opt ID card.  I got lucky and signed up on Saturday before the website had problems.

Oh nice good for you.....I'm still not in a rush to get it unless we are mandated to get it and I also feel bad if I volunteer to get before my parents are eligible to get it because I think we saw you gotta be 75 to get it. Again I'm not in a rush in my 30s when others who need it more than I do should get it. Hope it works out for ya

Use this website you'll do better than I did as far as location.  Book Port Richmond high school.  They have availability starting this Saturday. When you open your acct. then check forgot password retrieve your code set your password. when they ask if you have medical coverage check no.  It avoids unnecessary paperwork.  It's free. I was in a rush because of future travel and went to Kings county hospital.

I went crazy trying to make appointments through the state and city websites. By chance I found this place ... no forms, no bullshit ... just bring something to show you drive bus and insurance card. Got an appointment for Friday morning.

Hylan Care Pharmacy
1509 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10305
Hours: Open ⋅ Closes 8PM
Phone: (718) 400-8408

JUST CALL FOR AN APPOINTMENT!

is any of these places telling us about how to get the 2nd shot.... is there some sort of protocol to make sure we get it
Title: Re: Vaccine

When you get your 1st shot they will schedule your 2nd shot.  I took advantage of the Hylan care pharmacy listed above and changed my 2nd shot there not going back to Brooklyn.

I just got an appointment at Port Richmond HS for Saturday.

They will make your second appointment when you get your first shot.

You were able to change where you got the second shot? How? Just curious.

Yes, we're supposed to. But we're (legacy drivers) also supposed to get paid the whole week if you work even one day and that hasn't been the case. Going to arbitration.
