Buzz, I read that anywhere there is a posted speed limit it will remain the same. The 25 mph applies to unposted streets.

Yes, true. If there is a sign there, that will be the speed limit. But I believe the 30's will be replaced with 25's in time and that will be the default limit on unposted streets.
