This is several weeks later. Hopefully the issue was corrected. Fingers crossed!

opened a new claim on 7/13/20 on-line, no money for the last 4 weeks  :crazy: tryed calling no luck, what a broken system no resolution just a bunch of finger pointing

    You have to keep calling everyday. I had a few bad days that I couldn't get through. The rep. who answered couldn't help me so you need to ask them to talk to a specialist. Took me 3 conversations since 7-15-20 and just got all my money this mourning.

Uh-oh. I knew it was too good to be true. And the odd thing was it gave me the option to Claim Weekly Benefits for the week ending 8/9 ... which I did last Sunday. Guess I'll be calling next week. Ugh!



Last day worked, 4/30. How can Effective Date be 4/27???

I got the exact same thing. I spoke to a supervisor she set my account up when I went online it's saying Effective date 4/27/20 and Year ending date 5/2/21.Got to see if it lets me file on Sunday,then I have to call and have the dates corrected.

If the dates are wrong there going to hold your money. You can still claim ever week but you wont see any money till you call and straighten out your dates. Talk to a level 3 supervisor and don't do the option to get called back cause they never do. If you call just before 8am you should not be on hold for a long time...Good Luck

I guess because the state is broke Cuomo can't hire qualified programmers who actually know what the fuck they're doing. He needs a couple of Jeff Bezos' men. He's a creep but he knows how to make shit work!

When the voice prompt ask me if I want to change my address I usually hit that one ....they pick up pretty fast but when you ask them about the dates that are wrong they'll connect
you to a level 2 who will then connect you to a level 3 but then you'll have to wait to talk to a level 3.

as of this morning it is my 5th week claiming benefits (no money for 4 weeks) but my affected dates changed to 7/6/20 7/11/21 on the DOL site

Well, I went to certify this morning and the dreaded "Break in Claim" notice came up.

Has anyone notttttt had a problem?????? It was extended with no waiting week?? So why all of this.  Has the system worked for anyone??
