No pay checks today!!!

Just went on bank and there's nothing in the bank!! Payroll says they're putting it off until next week!! This is fu ked up!! They're supposed to pay us all monies due before we get laid off!! No one told us!! What are we supposed to do!!

yes it is bull#hit ....but they will tell you this is the way it has always been...again bull#hit,we always had a paycheck this week,and during xmas and easter we had our accural check the last day we worked.. i called this game 2 weeks ago cause i knew it was goiing to happen...it may seem petty to some but again the drivers and escorts are the one the games are being played with the only ones that have to abide by a contract... let 1181 wake up early and come down monday morning and explain it to us..again woodhaven blvd...

Between this bullcrap and still not getting the NLRB I'm ready to kill ppl. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's paid their bills yesterday thinking the money would be in the bank this morning!! and now will be penniless until we do get paid!! Weve always gotten 2 pay checks on the Friday before the holiday it hasn't always been this way. They need to be stopped!! The union needs to grow a pair and fight for us!!

i agree with you ...this week im almost positive we got a check this friday...i dont remember getting 2 checks the last friday before presidents week...this was not a accured week the reason we never collected unepmployment....but either way we rightful should have been paid this week not next friday 2-28-14...the games that have been played on us ,i want what ik earned by the book...and the week ending 2-14-14 should be paid to us on 2-21-14 ......

Well, if you voted yes to giving up getting paid for this week on this contract. You got what you voted for. The same will be for the April week. so prepare yourself.

Yeah you are right , if you are stupid enough to vote yes for the contract, but if you listen to unemployment, did you receive holiday pay or vacation pay for this week. The answer is no. We are working a week behind so we deserve to get paid for this week.

Don't suppose it's much of a consolation, but I've been told that the union has been made aware of the check issue and will be taking it up with Neil.

We should have been paid today or at least told in advance. Another guessing game. Hopefully unemployment doesn't screw us too somehow. Most people though we would get a paycheck today and no paycheck next week. Unemployment for this week comes next week.

I agree that this is annoying but don't lose sight of the big picture . Come June 2015 we might be wishing for the good old days when we had this horrible contract.

(And I don't really see how there being no checks today has anything to do with the new contract.)

Buzz. The only way this has to do with the new contract is that it's a layoff week whereas it used to be a guarantee week. But you r right, it's the same as Christmas week we got paid for the week worked prior to Christmas when we came back to work
