Title: Atlantic Express RE Mr Gatto
Post by: GMC JOE on January 29, 2013, 01:19:10 PM
;D Heard the man was trying to engage the people on the picket line into non professional conduct, but failed . I think he had to be put in line by the police for trying to cause a riot ! This is unacceptable behavior by a contractor  , How can we bring some action against him should it be true . Why don't his drivers realize being a scab is not going to be to their advantage with this non professional!

NY1 says school buses are rolling this morning. They said new drivers & matrons finished their training today. They mentioned Island Charter as one of the companies.

It's unfortunate we are fighting for ourselves and AE.  If we lose the EPP, it would only be a matter of time before Gatto gets under-bidded and is forced to let go of his "high earners" to keep his profit margain and hiring other drivers at a much less pay scale.  Don't these ignorant AE drivers see that?  They are crossing the picket line and are helping the very same people who are trying to hurt us.

I've stated in another post that there were a handful of AE drivers that were on the picket line with us.  Well, everyone of those drivers are now CPR qualified, crossed the very same line they were standing, and went out today on an AE bus.  But don't worry, they were nice enough to hand the striking 1181 matrons hand warmers.  THIS IS A FACT!  I witnessed the whole fvcking thing.

The one driver who had the balls not to cross the line should be praised and welcomed into 1181 when things are settled.
