Union Meeting 9/24 - NOT Strike Vote ... and other rumors

The next general membership meeting for Local 1181-1061 will be held on
Tuesday, September, 25th, 7:30PM, at
Elizabeth Blackwell JHS 210. Located at 93-11 101st Avenue, Ozone Park, NY.

Contrary to popular rumor, this is NOT a strike vote meeting!
If and when there is one, Ernie will come to the yard and let us know.

Also, the pension is funded at 89% (upwards of $13 million) ... not 40% as some rumors have it.
If you have any question, call Bob D'Ulisse at the union and tell him Ernie told you to call.

Next, owners did NOT walk out of the last meeting. Talks are progressing ... slowly, but they are progressing.

And ... All delegates put in much fuller days than most of us do ... and then some!

Case in point: Just (unknowingly) woke Ernie up with a phone call a few minutes after 9 tonight. Turned in early because he has to get up at 2 to be in the Bronx at 4.
