Which I thinks is wrong.

My run which is entirely on Staten island apparently was picked up by Pride transportation which is based in Brooklyn, does anyone know if there is a yard on Staten island that they pull out of?

As an AE 1181 driver my delegate said that we most likely will stay on the runs we have now until the master pick in February. We'll see

Does anyone know what the requirements are to retire? how many years and what age?

The drivers at SI Bus are local 355 (I believe that's the union)

those staten island drivers are a different union, I believe that if Pioneer picks up atlantic work the 1181 atlantic express drivers like myself would automatically follow the work instead of them

I'm hoping that AE comes up with a better proposal that we can vote on.

AE lost its last appeal for the back pay they owe us. So from what I understand if we vote no to the shitty contract that was offered, we get our vacation pay. But we run the risk of AE going out of business and all of us going on a master list. A lot of people there are going to vote no from what I know. They're saying screw AE, Also some are saying that AE is bluffing.

Yes, I understand you are getting basically the same contract that was imposed on us in April. Worse, correct me if I'm wrong, you're not even getting your back pay if you pass the contract, are you?

But, you're making the right decision to approve it. A job with a bad contract is better than no job at all. Good luck to you and everyone there. I'm sorry for your predicament.

I really doubt we are getting any back pay or vacation pay due to the bankruptcy I hope someone starts a class action lawsuit against AE so we can get something back.

After being there for 29 years I have no choice but to vote yes because there is no other choice ( I DO NOT WANT TO STRIKE). I hope the hardliners there think hard before they vote. My cousin works for Reliant, She is angry that they voted no and she feels she'll be out of a job in June.
