MV Transportation is a para-transit company on Richmond Terrace (near Heberton) that will be voting to join 1181 on Friday.
Eddie asks that anyone who can, go with Ernie and/or Andy on Friday to show some support. Meet back at the yard about 9 a.m. on Friday. There's a good chance we'll have about 150 new members.
Just last week, 270 members were added to our rolls ... employees of Shelby, a Pre-K transportation company in the Bronx.
I guess neither of these companies got the 28-year man's memo about what a lousy local we have. ;D
