just a heads up empire blue cross blue shield does not and i repeat does not cover expense of you yearly medical if u go to heartland medical on richmond ave or on arden ave you will be billed.... you will pay $150.00and get forty back from insurance.

Anybody know if we get 6 sick days a year I hear it is the law now. If not why not? And I think the yearly medical should be paid by the employer, Union, City,or the BOE not us.

we have to negotiate for the sick days...law does not include union workers

Why would you go there instead of Quaquafredda?

Also, as of May of this year, you have to go to a doctor who is federal DOT certified.

couldnt get to aquafreadda in time ...his schedual was full and trips  up the  wazoo

We are entitled to sick days, they were negotiated out.  What we got in return I don't know.
