The first clause of our current contract contains a "Re-opener" ... which says to me that if the Employer gets and extension then THIS contract should be open to re-negotiation within 7 days. If that is so, then I think our current contract should be re-opened NOW and ... at the very least ... our full summer accrual should be restored for THIS year. THEN a new contract can be negotiated after this one expires on June 30th.
