Meeting Information

The next general membership meeting for Local 1181-1061
will be held on Thursday, March 30th, 7:30PM, at  Elizabeth Blackwell JHS
210 located at 93-11 101st Avenue, Ozone Park, NY.

Do you think they'll tell us about their plan to increase the pension then?

yes pension increase,along with the signing of the EPP and a well funded and in the green welfare fund... oh and a new bus wash    :snicker: :snicker:

They will be handing out various descriptions of opt violations and the assigned opt fines that go along with them.

There WILL be a pension increase ... right after they defrost Ted Williams.

In 2009, the Dow Jones was at 8200.  It's now at 21000.  Any stocks in our pension portfolio have doubled, tripled or more.  That along with dues paying membership rising to near record levels (15,000) tells me there is money to raise pensions.  Not getting a raise for over 10 years is unacceptable.

membership 15,000 if that true ,how long are they staying,and i dont think anyone including bosses pay into pension fund for 1st year...i agree with your point grrrr but i think pension fund is going the opposite way or just staying level..
