Two things that would have made the first day go a little better (and get runs out on time):
1) The buses could have been in they yard(s) in which they should have been.
2) Buses should have been checked last week to see that they start!
Not blaming the shop ... I'm sure if they had been given the time/overtime these things would have been done. Pretty basic if you ask me.
