Title: The EPP is now the ESBW Provision
Post by: Buzz on January 04, 2018, 12:49:15 AM
The EPP is now called the ESBW ... Experienced School Bus Workers provision. (Which I think is a better, less self-serving sounding title.)

Here is a link to the actual RFB (Request For Bid) form that bidders will submit. Scroll down to section 4.5 for the ESBW provision >>>> http://1181drivers.com/RFBblank.pdf

This link is to a document giving more information about ESBW >>>> http://1181drivers.com/ESBWInfo.pdf

(In each case you can click the + at the top of the page to make fonts larger)

Under Section 4.13 A -  "As noted herein, there shall be 85% payment to the Contractor for days when vehicles do not operate due to school closings only when the days canceled are not rescheduled before the end of the School Year."

Hmmm ... we were always told the contractor gets nothing on snow days. (The days are never rescheduled.)

Also section 1.69 - "The Contractor shall employ and/or contract for the services of only competent workers ..."

Define "competent" ...  :wink_cheesy:  :wink_cheesy:
