Title: Union says EVERYBODY claims Easter Week
Post by: Buzz on April 06, 2020, 04:23:04 PM
According to the 4/6 update from the union which I posted on the "1181 Matters" forum, everybody is to claim unemployment for Easter week (claim on the 19th) and those who are eligible will get 100% accrual. It also implies that we will continue to get 85% thereafter.

As of this morning, Ernie still could not get an answer as to whether accrual checks will be live or direct deposit. Apparently Kathy is waiting for an answer from ADP.

Also, and this is important:

When you claim unemployment, THE LAST DAY YOU WORKED IS APRIL 10TH! ... not March 13th. Even though you are not physically working, you have been getting paid for work through April 10th.

THE LAST DAY YOU WORKED IS APRIL 10TH!

Buzz when we claim unemployment on April 19, and indicate April 10 as our last work day, do we also check off, LACK OF WORK, as the reason for being unemployed? THANKS!

Been trying to get an answer to that even before you asked. Let you know as soon as I hear.
