We were actually notified by Michael as to what to do in the event we lose insurance coverage back on April 2nd. I posted it here on that date and it was posted on 1181's website on April 4th. Judging by the questions, I'm guessing some of you missed it, but we can't blame the union for what we missed.

Question it says up until April 15....would we still qualify?
that was also posted the same day that stated legacy companies would collect for easter week and then go back on 85% 4-20-2020.... i took that health coverage for the 400 members under the 2 bids from 1994 that were laid off...it stated the rest of us 85% pay scale were continued to be covered

It mentions other alternatives available year around. There's also COBRA, of course.

Ernie says he called the number mentioned in that notice and the enrollment period has been extended beyond the 15th. However, that number is for NY residents only. NJ residents should call 866-289-3259.
