Just read an article where Dumblasio states he is going to certify thousands of new teachers before the start of the school year. IN THE MIDST OF A FINANCIAL CRISIS ??
In the same article it states that Carranza has filed a waiver with the state just in case they need to delay the start of the school year. Are these two idiots even on the same page.
Meanwhile now the UFT is calling on all teachers not to attend in person meetings at their schools. They do not want them going in to set up their classrooms. They are asking them to only attend meetings virtually.
The Principals union is fighting back stating they will not have enough staff to execute the new learning model that Dumblasio has put out there.
AND SOMEWHERE IN THE MIDDLE OF ALL THIS ARE " THE SCHOOL BUS DRIVERS AND MATRONS"
ARE WE EXPECTED TO BE READY AT A MOMENTS NOTICE ??
SORRY BUT I AM FINDING IT NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE ANY CONFIDENCE IN A SEPTEMBER 10TH START DATE WITH ALL THIS BULLSHIT GOING ON. :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:
I feel theyre setting it up to seem like they tried but its not gonna happen. I hope im.wrong.
I have said that all along, I believe they are going through the motions but unfortunately I don't think opening is a real possibility. Think about it they are asking for a 30 to 60 day delay one would think if they started this back in June we would be ready no ??

However, I did come across this article of a few days ago. Maybe dB should check with Cuomo before he hires any teachers.

this is true,i heard during the daily press conference ,the mayor was asked about chancellors full remote comment..mayor response was october 1st we can all see a totally different city with major layoffs.... city and state are both looking for a huge federal bailout for the previous giveaways they both have done way before china virus... i think they threaten to close down the school system and make it Trump fault before the election...like his election day count down clock in front of the camera daily...
