Bobby wanted me to post that if anybody is holding onto medicals or renewed licenses they must get that info to the office before Sept. 18.
You can either scan documents or take pics and email them to Pioneer at pioneer@pioneerbus.com.
Or, you can send COPIES in by snail mail in a timely manner.
Or, you can bring them in personally Sept. 14 through the 17th between the hours of 10 and 1. Call the office and someone will come down to the gate.
There are some people who they have not been able to reach by email. Make sure the email info you gave to the office is current!
Why can't we just walk through the front door right into Maria's office and hand it to her? Safety protocols? Hhhuuummm
so much for not doing our medicals
If I recall they said we didn't have to have our medical done when they were actually do. But we would need to have them done before our actual return to work date. So if September 21st is to be the day then the 18th seems fair.
Guess I had better get mine done lol.

Nope, can't do that. They don't want anybody on the property. Maybe there's going to be valet parking and they'll bring our card and bus to the gate in the morning. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Please note: Because OPT is fucked up, there may have to be some adjustments to the information that was given Bobby. If so, updates will be posted below.
And so the fun continues. I would bet this will have to do with catholic schools starting up. Lol

Dunno.
Hammer2161 . . . . . Huh ?
Initially Jenks said medicals needed to be in by the 18th seeing as public schools are starting up on the 21st.
But it appears catholic schools are starting up on the 9th. If that is the case and they are to get busing I would assume medicals for drivers who do catholic schools would need to be in sooner NO ??

Possible. Ernie's trying to get some clarity ... especially since we were told by the state and OPT that medicals and licenses would be extended. Stay calm.
The topic about the medicals came up over a month ago. I wouldn't say I told you so but I think I did.
People were complaining about paying for them, but you still have to pay for them now.I recommended beating the last minute rush.
Yes the topic of medicals did come up and at that time and we were instructed by our union to wait until a definitive start to the school year was announced. The Department of Motor Vehicles has given an extension to everything. The problem will be more with BOE not the DMV.
Ok Ladies and Gentlemen pay attention to your email. Pioneer just emailed me stating that my updated medical needs to be in the office by Tuesday September 8th. All expired medicals need to be submitted with an updated new one by the end of that day. Or they are guessing we will not be able to work when the time comes. This is supposedly coming directly from OPT.
Can anyone get this bullshit right !!!!
Good luck trying to see a doctor, waiting 2 days for the ppd, Monday holiday, and handing it in by Tuesday. Almost seems impossible.

Had my stuff ready since May...an update on routes would be nice
An update on the safety Precautions would be good too, like the proposal the union submitted months ago. Any update on that?
Some of us completely ignored the unions advise and completed the medicals on time. You have to see a problem coming before it hits. Sorry bad advise was given now the rush begins.
