Title: Working Xmas week
Post by: TheKid24 on December 14, 2020, 03:54:09 PM
If you're a Junior guy working a Jewish school during XMas week do you get the extra 4 hours pay? Just asking cause last year it didn't happen with Chanukah and Xmas falling during the same week.

I don't think you get anything for a snow day. Legacy drivers get 85%.

Prolly should have asked these questions before you signed on. You have a different contract that those hired before 2013. Sorry.

Week? What week?

After one year you get Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day and MLK's birthday.

Yes I know that lol, how long do you have to be here to get paid for the whole week of Christmas ?

Also what does adjustment weeks Xmas 2022, Easter 2023 mean?

You won't ever get paid for the whole week of Christmas but in 2022 you will get a week's pay as "Christmas Adjustment Week" and in 2023 you'll get "Easter Adjustment Week." It's a technicality, but it's equivalent to what senior men get as accrual. However, as of this contract, you do not get summer accrual ever ... unless you win it in some future contract.
