Saw this after I came in....IMG_8908.jpeg
Well done ... saved me the trouble.
Just to confirm. Are you saying the summer pick is NOT this coming Friday?
QuoteJust to confirm. Are you saying the summer pick is NOT this coming Friday?
No ... that's their way of HIGHLIGHTING ... which is very confusing. Bobby did the same thing with the run documentation and I humiliated him until he changed it ... LOL.
The summer pick is Friday.
Anyone know how many runs Pioneer got? Heard IC got 91
The preliminary count is 112 runs which will likely change before Friday and possibly beyond.
72 Regular Ed
20 Special Ed Buses
20 Vans
SUBJECT --- TO --- CHANGE!
I noticed too it went from numbers 258 and above gotta show to now 225 and above gotta show to the pick

Did you notice the notices were changed so that it looks light HIGHLIGHTING instead of somebody going outside the lines with their crayons? :)) :))
Two more special ed buses added for a total of 114 runs.
I don't remember ever seeing this many summer runs.
I was just looking at some of the summer school runs not really in Detail BUT from what I saw a lot of them were how they were two years ago your 1AM was your 1PM which is a good thing compared to last year us having 3 in the AM with 1 or more in the PM. BUT I saw a few with more than one school. Some start on the 5th some start on the 6th. Also a 3pm dismissal. General Ed. Didn't glance at special Ed or vans because I don't think I'll get to that when it comes to my pick
Did you notice some of the regular ed runs were marked in pen 5 pm and 6 pm? I don't know who wrote that (not the office) and I'm not at all sure it's correct. I don't think they're going to be paying overtime for summer work.

Nope, well I do know that the summer rising program is until 6pm but parents pick up those students

Yes, exactly. That's why I don't understand why that was penned in on so many runs. I'll get to the bottom of it tomorrow. (Hopefully)

Neil wants to make as much money as he can before we go on Strike in September!
Also heard they are gonna take on about 10-12 shapes. It's gonna be a continuation of the school year lol especially with 3pm outs
So I found out the times written in on the front of the route sheets are the start times. It says RT should really say ST.
Correction: R/T means REPORT Time
Now it makes sense.
All general Ed begins the 5th, special Ed begins the 6th....
Anyone know when the last day for general Ed is?
Scroll down to the calendar ...
https://www.schools.nyc.gov/enrollment/summer/grades-k-8
I heard a couple of guys called their schools and were told it's only 4 days. The schedule I linked above says 5 days for most programs and 4 days for "ASD Nest" programs. Don't know who to believe.
I don't know and haven't looked into it but I'd be willing to bet that there will be bus service 5 days a week for all schools

If you go to the link above and then click "Calendar" the very last program says
"July 5–August 1, Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 12 PM." There apparently are special ed programs separate from Summer Rising.
Good luck with that
I would think if anyone would be 5 days a week it would be Special Ed

So you're saying regular ed is 4 days?
No I'm not. I'm saying my best guess is every bus that pulls out of Pioneer (Gen Ed or Special Ed), will be pulling out 5 days a week. I don't know what Fridays will be. If it's BOE work or Summer Rising or Jungle Fever or whatever they want to call it. As I said that's my guess. We'll know in a couple of weeks.
I don't know either, just presenting what the DOE has on their site.
Heard they already have a bunch of trips for the summer. Unreal.
Well today's Friday
Does anyone know if all the routes went out or not?

Routes went out but a lot of shit going on. Schools putting students on the bus that are supposed to stay at school till the 6pm program so drivers driving them back and getting back to the yard at 5pm way way way after when they should be back at the yard and parents not being at the stops taking them back to the schools getting back late to the yard
Thanks but let me rephrase my question.
Are there any routes that you know of that DID NOT go out on Friday? Meaning that they are ONLY Monday to Thursday routes.
