Title: Retiree Prescription question
Post by: sbdriver1 on October 03, 2024, 02:06:50 AM
I've been a union member for 40 years and I have been diabetic for many years. I retired 2 years ago and I'll be 65 in December. I'm ready to start Medicare and I want to know if my prescription plan will continue with the union since I'm Diabetic. Thank You.

Not sure, but I don't think so. Don't take my word ... call the union,  (718) 845-5800 ask for the person that handles retiree medical.

Actually, I thought they eliminated drug coverage for retirees years ago because of Obamacare.

(They will probably advise you to get Medicare Part D as opposed to a Medicare Advantage plan, but let us know.)
