Free flu (and tetanus) shots are offered by the Community Health Mobile Unit. (Just got mine :)) )
You do not have to be a beach or Staten Island resident to get a free shot. Here is the mobile unit's schedule for the beach area ...
There are other times and locations ... mostly North Shore, but their website is down for construction right now. May be able to find on their facebook page ... https://www.facebook.com/CommunityHealthAction
