I've been asked a lot of questions about last week's checks so I hope the info I got from the office will put some of our paranoia to rest.
We are not getting paid by a new company. The new payroll company used the wrong stationery ... apparently either the heading info is pre-printed before the earnings info is entered and/or a wrong code was used to assign the heading. (I believe Pioneer School Bus Rental is the company name that matrons are paid by.) We were paid by Pioneer Transportation, therefore, there will still be only one W-2.
Er pension is the employer's contribution.
Max Elig/Comp is your gross pay ... this category will not appear on future checks.
Year-to-date info will eventually be carried over from previous statements.
