Farina's announcement that field trips are canceled included the statement that "Safety is a top priority for the department." Too dangerous for trips, but ok to go to school. Yeah ... Okaaaaaay.

They don't get paid extra for field trips. (If that were the case there wouldn't be so many!)
The schools chancellor just stated that the main reasons public schools are open is that the children have a "safe haven and what about all the kids that would miss a hot lunch. In addition it would disrupt parents work schedules". Omg.... :bomb:
