Don't know what it will lead to, but it's more than we ever got from Bloomy.
BLOOMY who??
I would like to see the letter that Cordiello sent to the Mayor. It is better than nothing, but he really doesn't say anything about revisiting the EPP. which he promised to do with all the other mayoral candidates.
I SAY EVERBODY WHO DIDNT GET THEIR CHECKS CALL TOMORROW AND BOMBARD THEM WITH PHONE CALLS. MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR THE COMPLIANCE OFFICER WHO IS THE ONE WHO HAS THE INFORMATION!
I called today spoke to a Kelly (lying bitch), she took my name and number and said someone from the NLRB will call me back today! Still waiting!! >:(
I'm going to call again, again, again tomorrow until I speak to someone and get an answer to "WHERE'S MY FXCKEN CHECK!"

Where is this letter?
Give the union president credit for having the intelligence to send a letter - but not sure this reply by the mayor is a vote of confidence that he will back us for the EPP. Seems almost like a 'form' letter - BUT at least the mayor responded back!
Tax the rich so we can get a raise!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We are probably the only union that goes on strike and has to give givebacks. Yeah, the Great Negotiator.

Far from it, my friend. Many unions have given back plenty more. And the many of ones that were stubborn enough not to give back, no longer exist.
The union members gave back, but did the Union Delegates give back. The owners and the union are saying that the owners aren't making any money, but when Atlantic Express went out of business, there was a lot of companies looking for the work. It's pretty sad when the owners are making the same amount of money on the runs and only the union members have to take a hit.
Labor is like any other commodity ... supply and demand. Right now there are hundreds of drivers out of work. Regardless of how much the owners make, why would they pay more than they have to? It sucks, but that's the way it is.
