Rather general but ...

The NY Post article about the settlement may not be correct. First, they show a picture that must be from about 5 years ago. (One guy in that picture is dead.) Then, although they say details haven't been disclosed, they assert that it's a "three-year deal." This may be incorrect. There is reason to believe it may very well be a 5 year contract. We'll find out in due time.

Well gang, just as I've predicted all along, negotiations have ended today with a tentative agreement. "Details will follow at a later time." (Anthony)

So no strike ... assuming the MOA is ratified by US, that is.

Well, as of 15 minuted ago the meeting was STILL GOING ON!

I see this as a good sign. The big boys play hardball but if they send out for dinner it would tell me they want to get this thing wrapped up tonight. And I think it's going to be pretty good. JUST MY OPINION

Anthony reports that "Today's negotiations were OK. The owners made a little movement on their part."

So, we're moving in the right direction at least and they are meeting again Tuesday and Wednesday.

I've always maintained that a strike is not very likely in my opinion. I believe an MOA will come out of the negotiations. Whether it will be on we will ratify or not remains to be seen.

Today's negotiations were not successful. More meetings scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Also, there are fliers in the drivers room to give to parents, NOT students.

Doesn't show in ADP as of this posting but printed checks show only 20 hours pay for guaranteed week, should be 24 (the 4 hours for dry run is there). In other words we were paid for 40 hours, should be 44. To be corrected next week.

But those of you who do will probably find this hilarious!
