I have heard rumors of new weekly schedules with weekends off. Could somebody confirm this and clarify A and B team days off this week (ex.A team still has to work sat. Then only off sun. Then back to the line Monday?). No rumors please..

Work Related / The way it should be handled

Don't know much about the incident on the West Shore Exprwy, with the Spec Ed bus, except how I heard the driver handle the situation.
Calm demeanor....acted professional. He should be commended. Owen right on the radio getting help for him. Other drivers showing up to help the driver. Could have turned into a disaster real quick. Thank God it didn't.

Work Related / OPT regulations for trips

These are just some OPT regs, why aren't these enforced? 
*June 17 is the last day for field trips for the 2010-11 school year.
*Trips requiring more than five (5) vehicles may not be scheduled on Fridays due to limited vehicle availability.
*Schools are responsible for fees associated with tolls and parking. *Schools must confirm all assigned trips with the bus company dispatcher two days before the scheduled trip.
*Neither OPT nor the bus companies can be responsible for routing field trips. To ensure proper travel, schools must provide bus drivers with directions to and from the field trip site.
* No trips to MSG, Radio City, Staten Island Ferry
*All buses MUST be back at the schools by 1:30

Work Related / Yard Guys

I would like to say good job by the yard guys this week. It was very hard this week with "solid ice" on the windshields, and solid ice on the ground. To move all those buses in the back, and second row seemed very difficult in conjunction with drivers trying to get out quickly, to be on time. For those drivers with special ed runs and guys who make it in early, c'mon in the back sometime and take a look.....arghhhhhhhhhhh! Just my opinion.

Write down Buzz's directions on sheet of paper and follow to the "t". Remember to use your EXACT user name as before including caps or lower case, dashes etc. if you are keeping your previous name. If I did it anybody can!
