They make it to difficult with your route, the route(s) you cover, what yard is ur route out of.
Let's simplify
Regarding Yard Inspections (which is always in the AM).
No matter what you do or don't do,
Whatever AM routes that u log into with the VIA phone is what route(s) you have to get inspected for.

It's definitely (or at least was, depending on the interpretation of new MOA) two hours for a 5:00pm or after dismissal. I know first hand. Use to do one of those runs out of RJJB on Amboy Rd just last year.

It doesn't qualify for that.
My point is that the runs that get dismissed at 4:45 will now get an hour's pay.
BUT
The runs that get dismissed at 5:00 or later that get 2 hours pay will "provably" only get one hour's pay now.

We usually get our $50 cleaning allowance the first paycheck in December. I didn't get mine. Maybe they're waiting to give us the whole $150 under the new MOA

Even though the 1 hour pay for the 4;30 and after is a good thing for some and as you said it only applies to a few runs. I know there is one Jewish school with a 4:45 out.
But here's the bad news for some others. I ASSUME that this new contract nullifies any past contracts and/or agreements in the past. And here's what I'm referring to. In the past any runs with a dismissal time of 5:00pm or later got 2 hours pay.

I think with the exception of the attendants wages this is definitely the best contract that we have seen in years. I'm sure there are those that disagree and you have the right. But to rant about it makes no sense and will not change anything. It's been agreed upon by the Union and the Companies and is now in front of us. It's simple now either you vote YES or NO.

Check ur bank accounts. Even though Veterans Day is being observed tomorrow and we're NOT off for some reason we got paid today. Also don't forget to look for the separate $100 safety bonus.

Keep an eye out. If I'm correct we should be checking our safety checks next week. Either Thursday or Friday. I forget how they determine the exact day but usually it's the first week in November.

If ur talking to me specifically, I am not asking for an apology from you or anyone who doesn't attend any meeting. No other should need to. We all have personal lives and obligations besides the job.
We are All Union Brothers & Sisters and for us that are here long enough, we are friends. I believe over the last week my comments have clearly showed how I feel about everything. And like I said no matter what I always speak what's on my mind throughout our Brotherhood (which we all should). Sometimes even though I know I shouldn't I do it for those who for some reason are afraid to.
Having said that, I'm done with this conversation and probably all conversations going forward.
Let's just hope that the new contract is as good as we're told it is.
On another note did all the legacy drivers and matrons get the 4 hours in their paycheck that was owed to us from the 1st week of work?

Furthermore let me say one more thing, so my comments are not taken the wrong way. Whether or not I agree with our Board or Steward, outside of this Local I always stand with them but if I disagree with them I will voice my opinion, not just on this site or other sites or at the schools with the other drivers. I will and have told them face to face. And one more thing I think Anthony does a great job but I do not group him with the Board. He has no control over what the Board does.
