LoBaido was a big disappointment. Hyping everybody up for a big demonstration to disrupt the marathon ... changed his tune real quick when he got a visit from the feds. Really lost credibility.

He's a wanna be tough guy all bark no bite unless it's his "art work"

When I took it two years almost three years ago it was pretty bad. Had to know everything under the hood, under the front, side and back to the bus. As well as the actual pre trip outside and inside, then the brake test, then driving forward, driving back, then parallel parking.
Then after that you go for a drive.

If they asked proof of ANTIBODIES to work without the vaccine, I bet my life on it nobody would be out of work and nobody would be protesting their right to work.....

Yep, I've thought the same thing. Why wouldn't an acceptable antibody test be just as good as the vaccine? Makes no sense.

Because the medical experts are not sure how many antibodies are needed to be safe.

Also they'd can't make money off natural immunity lol that's the big reason. People who don't want the vaccine should just test every week as we are doing now

Because I remember Owen saying during training if he didn't get into an accident he would drive 20 mph on the last day to make sure he got his check so technically I survived the school year and should get it but yeah if I get it I won't say anything if I don't I'll talk to Andy about it

Soooo question? I made it through the whole school year last year without one(September-June) including summer school. A week before this school year began I got into a tiny thing with a cable truck doing a DRY RUN that led to just the cable truck getting a flat tire. Am I still entitled to the safety check because I didn't get into an accident at all last school yeah from September-June given this happened when we did our dry runs for this school year ?

I had covid in June, recovered just fine. Been testing negative since due to my antibodies. At the end of the day it's all about power, brain washing people what the immune system is supposed to do. Also big pharma can't get rich off of natural immunity. I'm 35 and healthy no need for me to get the vax after having covid.

It's just a matter of time

I think so too, but then as far as I know, deBlasio still has MTA workers on a vax OR TEST mandate.

As of November 14th all new hires for the MTA must be vaccinated

Mine still shows 10.00 taken out. I was explained I believe last year where it says Goal 2 on the check when it hits 400 dollars that's when it stops. Mine is at 350.00 next to Goal 2 as of last weeks pay check with again as I stated 10.00 taken out

Proud member those are all good points. I marvel at these few facts : we as drivers have a ton of responsibilities and liable if something goes wrong . Being irresponsible or not paying attention and having a bad day can cause great harm  or (God Forbid) even death to the "precious cargo " we carry. The city they say is spending up to $40,000.00 a year for kids education. We all know there is waste, fraud and abuse within this system and the city in General . As in the state (Hochul seems to be just as left as Cuomo the new competition is how far left can you be the moderate Dems are few or just 2 left ). At the white house  Forget it . If in fact you  can believe I just read yesterday from the White House calls for teachers to be paid more .
This issue isn't going away . I'm realistic and don't say we are sitting at the table with all the high cards and odds in our favor . Something has to be done . This isn't just our city and  state that's effected . I do believe if played right there is enough content and facts that are in our favor . The argument that scaling down and treating the job as less in fact has gotten it to the very point it is now mixed in with COVID and the bare bones contract now for up and comings . It will only get worse and selling out the unborn is no longer an option . That also mirrors the same thing with how we move forward and spend money at all levels of government as well . Perilous times

I've seen other companies striking due to lack of covid pay and lack of pay in general giving all the extra work drivers need to do with the lack of pay they are currently receiving. I've said it before and I'll say it again if this isn't addressed the current situation is going to get worse than what it is.....people will leave for better paying jobs which is already happening and new drivers aren't coming in

Love when he says our drivers are doing double the work gettin in late at night for the same shit pay 🤣 the article ain't wrong. The senior drivers have their reason to put their papers in and anyone else isn't staying cause the pay sucks and people aren't coming in for that reason as well
