Very true and yes scary too that we could miss something, but hopefully not a child .

That is why they have asked you to place those issues in order on the form . Then on the lower part of the form there is a space for you to add other items also . Did you see the form ?

     This is the time to fill out this form by the window in the driver room .I have suggested not having a run pick in August. I requested two picks ,one in October and the second in February. If you think the same fill out the form and return it in the box by the window. Of course indicate your own proposal . Stop the August pick if possible,ending vacation is bad enough .

The time has come to petition the union for a change . We all need to get involved to have it put in the up coming contract .

 

I spoke with Ernie today at the driver room where the runs are posted . I was told by him if we do not like the picking of runs as it stands we can request changes be made in our next contract by submitting a request in writing . For example, We might request two picks per school year one in October and the other in February.

     I am in no way in favor of an August or September pick . Too many draw backs

     Run can be changed after pick
      Just coming off vacation
     Parent and child confusion at school
      Wrong children being put on bus
     Dealing with new run learning and left /right sheets
      Dry runs
     ETC.
Leave in June and start Sept with same run . Pick October and February

The new mayor elect is not capable of  miracles,that is for Obama. How is he doing in that area ?
